HFG are currently working with a leading London market insurer who are looking for a Syndicate Financial Controller to lead their reporting function and take ownership of regulatory reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the managed syndicate's reporting and accounting
- Review and recommend for submission all Lloyd's quarterly and annual regulatory returns
- Effectively manage the quarterly close process and reporting requirements
- Driving the development of reporting systems and processes capable of meeting the demands of an evolving business area
- Committee Financial Reports
- Production of timely, insightful, and strategic financial MI for management and the Board.
- Manage the external audit timetable and process across all departments that contribute to the audit client schedule list

- Previous Syndicate/Lloyd's reporting experience
- ACA/CA qualified with 5 years minimum post qualification experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience working an London market insurer
