The Role
As a Systems Administrator at Air Apps, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our corporate IT infrastructure, user access, and SaaS tools to ensure a secure, efficient, and scalable workplace.
This is a fully onsite role based in Lisbon, where collaboration with cross-functional teams happens in person within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Relocation support may be provided.
You will need technical expertise in IT systems, cloud security, and troubleshooting, combined with a focus on automation and best practices to optimise our infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain corporate IT infrastructure, including:
- SaaS applications (Slack, Zoom, Notion, Atlassian, etc.)
- Cloud services (AWS, Azure)
- Internal systems (database, servers, APIs)
- Oversee user access, provisioning, and identity management across:
- Google Workspace
- Okta

- Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)
- Ensure network security, including:
- Endpoint protection
- Data encryption
- Firewall and VPN policies
- Zero-trust security models
- Monitor and optimise hardware & software performance, troubleshooting issues proactively
- Implement and enforce IT security best practices, such as:
- Multi-factor authentication (MFA)
- Role-based access control (RBAC)
- Maintain and support company-wide SaaS tools (Slack, Zoom, Notion, Atlassian)
- Assist in employee onboarding/offboarding, including assigning and deactivating accounts
- Automate IT processes (scripting, workflows, system monitoring) to enhance efficiency
- Maintain software licensing, compliance (GDPR/SOC 2), and IT documentation
- Provide technical support & training to employees to ensure smooth system adoption
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in:
- IT administration
- Systems administration
- IT support
- Cloud-based IT environment expertise:
- Experience managing Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, AWS, or Azure
- Identity & access management (IAM) experience:
- Okta, Azure AD, JumpCloud
- Endpoint management experience:
- Jamf, Intune, Kandji (or similar MDM platforms)
- Network security knowledge, including:
- VPNs, firewalls, zero-trust principles
- IT automation & scripting advantage:
- Bash, PowerShell, Python
- Troubleshooting skills for:
- Hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Understanding of compliance & data privacy (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2)
- Problem-solving ability in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
