H2 Software Ltd

H2 Software Ltd is a software development company based in London, UK. We develop bespoke software for higher education institutions. Our flagship products are Accredinator, accreditation software for business schools, and Dr Workload, workload management software for universities.

Primary Responsibility

Manage and maintain the company’s IT systems, cloud infrastructure, and end-user computing environment.

Duties

  • Administer and maintain the company’s AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Administer Microsoft 365, including email, user accounts, and security settings.
  • Manage Apple Business Manager and the company’s mobile device management (MDM) platform.
  • Provision, configure, and maintain company laptops and other end-user devices.
  • Monitor and maintain the availability, security, and performance of IT systems.
  • Manage software updates, security patching, and routine system maintenance.
  • Manage backup and recovery procedures.
  • Maintain technical documentation and IT asset records.
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s ISO27001 and CyberEssentials frameworks.
  • Provide regular reports to management on the status, performance, and security of the company’s IT infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Experience in a system administration or IT support role.
  • Experience administering AWS cloud services.
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with Apple Business Manager and MDM solutions is desirable.
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office, including Outlook.
  • Ability to work with Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Location

Primarily remote, with fortnightly meetings in Central London.

Salary

£29,000–£34,000 per annum, depending on experience, and subject to references and applicable background checks. Regular salary reviews based on performance and increased responsibilities.

We also offer the opportunity to obtain relevant AWS certificates.
