Group Systems & Cloud Engineer
Location: Blackfriars, London – hybrid
Salary: £50-55K plus excellent benefits package
About the Opportunity
Join a UK-based, purpose-led organisation working with public, private and third sector partners to develop practical innovations that improve outcomes for people and communities.
Reporting to the Group Senior Technical Architect, you will take ownership of the core systems supporting the wider Group, including identity, endpoints, SaaS platforms, Zero Trust security and multi-cloud infrastructure.
This is a varied role combining hands-on engineering, systems administration, automation and senior technical escalation support.

- Strong experience with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365
- Hands-on knowledge of JumpCloud, Okta or another IdP/MDM platform
- Experience with SSO, SAML, OIDC, SCIM and user provisioning
- Enterprise management of Windows and macOS devices
- Practical experience with AWS, GCP or Azure
- Scripting skills using Python, PowerShell, Bash or Google Apps Script
- Strong networking, troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills
Exposure to Cloudflare One, CrowdStrike, Terraform, GitHub or Cisco Meraki would be advantageous.
Role & Responsibilities
- Managing the full identity and access lifecycle across the Group
- Administering Windows and macOS endpoints through MDM
- Managing Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and Slack Enterprise Grid
- Supporting infrastructure across AWS, GCP and Azure
- Automating operational workflows and supporting infrastructure-as-code initiatives
- Acting as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues
- Supporting security and compliance requirements, including Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001 and UK GDPR
