This Maritime-focused opportunit Mosaic is part of our Systems Engineering graduate scheme. Our Systems Engineers provide independent, high-quality technical advice to customers, support major acquisition programmes, and drive innovation by applying emerging concepts to shape the future.
As a Systems Engineer in the Maritime domain, you’ll work on a broad range of projects—from platform integration to tactical training systems, underwater threat representation, and complex systems engineering across the engineering lifecycle.
You’ll pursue Professional Registration, benefitting from a structured learning programme with real-world project placements and tailored development pathways. Our graduates are empowered to deliver complex technical programmes while gaining key experience across QinetiQ’s diverse portfolio.

You’ll collaborate in teams supporting systems engineering projects (maritime and beyond), guided by senior engineers. Key accountabilities include:
- Supporting technical design & analysis, under supervision
- Engaging with internal/external stakeholders to gather requirements
- Working with project teams and identifying potential risks
- Contributing to information management and delivering technical deliverables
- Nigidity in leading small projects autonomously

Experience & Qualifications
Essential
- Degree in relevant qualifications (2:1 minimum or equivalent):
- Aerospace, Mechanical, Electronic, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics (or equivalent professional experience)
- Commitment to working on UK Defence projects
- Willingness to underurn degree of UK business travel and relocation (as part of the development programme)
