We are looking for a Systems and Training Coordinator to play a key role in supporting the growth, capability, and performance of our Compounding team. In this position, you will work closely with Managers, Process Team Leaders, Learning & Development, and Quality teams to ensure all training programmes are compliant, effective, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements. You will be instrumental in developing our people, maintaining training systems, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, coordinate, and support the delivery of training and development activities across the Compounding department.
- Lead and administer departmental apprenticeship programmes, ensuring assessments, verification activities, and compliance with national standards are maintained.
- Maintain and continuously improve training records, training matrices, and development plans to ensure all personnel are trained and qualified to perform their roles effectively.
- Partner with Managers and Process Team Leaders to identify training gaps and development needs across operational, GMP, quality, EHS, problem-solving, risk assessment, and personal development areas.
- Provide guidance and support for on-the-job training, competency assessments, and validation activities.
- Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Codes of Practice are reviewed, validated, updated, and maintained in line with business requirements and best practice.
- Support departmental and cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
- Facilitate and participate in off-the-job training programmes to enhance employee capability and compliance.
- Work closely with Learning & Development and Quality teams to ensure training programmes meet site, corporate, regulatory, and GMP standards.
- Ensure departmental training assessors are appropriately trained, qualified, and operating in compliance with requirements.
- Verify successful apprenticeship candidates and liaise with external verifiers to maintain quality and compliance standards.
- Promote awareness and understanding of SOPs, Codes of Practice, and training expectations across the department.
- Support the introduction of new equipment and processes by developing training materials and qualifying associated documentation.

Qualifications

- Experience coordinating training, learning and development, or competency programmes within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of apprenticeship frameworks, assessment, verification processes, and national standards.
- Understanding of GMP, quality systems, health and safety requirements, and compliance standards.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organisation.
- Experience developing training materials, SOPs, and competency frameworks would be advantageous.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
