Join us as a System Architect on a major spacecraft mission in London, leading the technical architecture of a cutting-edge space platform.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced System Architect to define and oversee the end-to-end system design of a major spacecraft mission within the space sector. You will shape the architecture to ensure seamless integration of all subsystems into a mission-ready, reliable, and high-performance platform.

- Experience Level: Mid to Senior
Key Responsibilities
Your role will involve:
- Defining the overall spacecraft architecture, ensuring alignment with mission objectives, constraints, and performance requirements.
- Leading the development of system-level concepts, including functional breakdowns, subsystem interactions, and high-level design flows.
- Ownership and maintenance of the technical baseline, ensuring consistency across electrical, mechanical, RF, software, thermal, and payload domains.
- Producing and managing system specifications, architectural documentation, and interface definitions.
- Driving trade-off analyses to evaluate design options across performance, reliability, mass, power, and cost.
- Supporting risk identification and mitigation strategies while influencing mission reliability decisions.
- Overseeing system-level verification and validation, ensuring the architecture is fully testable and compliant.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
