Location - Birmingham

Salary - Base salary: £24,022 pa to c.£28,261pa depending on skills and experience. In addition, we offer flexible benefits fund of 15% which is paid on top base salary and is fully pensionable, as well as a range of competitive benefits - check them out in the Benefits section on our website.

About the Role

As a Systems Coordinator at HS2 you will be responsible for supporting the administration of systems (P6/Xactium/Contruent/CEMAR) and any interfaces with other systems as well as ensuring the security and integrity of the system data.

  • Actively promote and embed Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all your work, and support and comply with all organisational initiatives, policies and procedures on EDI
  • Assist with the ongoing administration of the project controls systems (P6, Xactium, Contruent, CEMAR) and data platform to allow expedient, accurate and effective performance reporting and analysis.
  • Develop an understanding of the interface with other software tools and general architecture and landscape of all PMO systems.
  • Assist in ensuring clarity, robustness and maintenance of the systems (P6, Xactium, Contruent, CEMAR) to maintain high levels of efficiency and ease of use to support performance
  • Support the Systems Manager(s) to fulfil their role as the Design Authority for changes to system (technology) content and functionality by carrying out tasks as directed
  • Assist in maintaining the integrity and security of the systems (P6, Xactium, Contruent, CEMAR), including competency of individuals, by reviewing their documents prior to granting access
  • Assist in maintaining authorised users and permissions as well as providing training to the relevant community in the effective use of systems (P6, Xactium, Contruent, CEMAR) as required
  • Support the gateway ensuring integrity of external suppliers and system integration
  • Assist in problem resolution i.e. acts as a ‘trouble-shooter’ for straightforward issues arising within the systems (P6, Xactium, Contruent, CEMAR)
  • Provide reports and analysis to support audit and compliance activities and identify trends, issues and solutions

About You

Skills:

  • Proven communication skills and able to liaise between project stakeholders
  • Good organisational skills

Knowledge:

  • Basic understanding of the operation and integration P6, Contruent, CEMAR and Xactium and its system interfaces

Type of experience:

  • Some previous exposure to an office environment
  • Experience operating in a process-driven, governance-heavy environment.
