System Design Authority (Electronics Design Lead) / (Equipment Design Authority)

About the Role
Lead the design of mission-critical electronic systems.

Responsibilities
As the technical authority for a complex electronic subsystem, you'll ensure designs are technically robust, fully integrated, and ready for certification and deployment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the technical development of a complex electronic subsystem across its lifecycle
- Owning system architecture, design integrity, and technical decision-making
- Managing technical risks, opportunities, and engineering trade-offs
- Collaborating closely with systems, electronics, software, mechanical, safety, and cyber security teams
- Driving product evolution to meet future customer and operational requirements
- Supporting verification, validation, and certification activities
- Reviewing and approving technical solutions while ensuring compliance with engineering standards
- Providing technical guidance and fostering relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting in-service reliability, product improvements, and long-term technical support

Requirements
We seek engineers proficient in one or more of the following areas:
- Technical leadership in electronics or systems engineering
- Complex electronic equipment or subsystem design
- Systems Engineering principles and product lifecycle management
- Requirements engineering at the system, subsystem, or component level
- Hardware and software integration
- Verification, validation, and certification activities
- Technical risk management
- Strong stakeholder engagement and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Exceptional communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
