About the Role
My client is a manufacturer in Bristol, and they are looking for a systems developer with Python engineering and SQL experience to join their IT team.
You will work closely with your colleagues to provide systems development and support as well as data insights.
You should ideally have experience with web development in Python, but data applicants will be considered too.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain customer integration connections, delivering development solutions in order to optimize the ERP system using Python.
- Maintain the ERP data using PostgreSQL.
- Investigate, diagnose and resolve issues across a range of devices.
- Provide a level of support to users, including setup and maintenance of system user accounts, ERP and technical support.
There are 3 key aspects to this role:
- System Support: Python, XML
- Data Engineering: Python, PostgreSQL, PowerBI, Excel
- Web Development: application and UI/UX development: Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, APIs
What You Will Be Doing
- Software Development and systems design from scratch
- Creating reports in PostgreSQL / Excel
- Assisting with UX/UI design
- Creating data models
- Ensure the integrity of system and report data
- Maintenance
- Second and third line support
- Collaborate, driving innovative new software solutions
