About The Job

Games Workshop is recruiting an exciting opportunity for a Systems Developer. Working in our global IT team you will be responsible for development and coding where you will produce high quality coding and packages that meet project requirements. Deconstructing complex problems into manageable steps and thinking critically will be crucial as you support the business in the delivery of IT enabled business change projects.

  • You’ll contribute to strong teamwork by fostering an environment where you will write, review and provide constructive feedback on code from other developers as well as create technical documentation for internal and external use.
  • Being knowledgeable in your field, you will participate in agile development practices, including stand-up and sprint review meetings, ensuring that everyone is working towards the same goal.
  • You’ll have a keen eye for detail, knowing that deadlines and the ability to manage time effectively are key to this role.
  • With a passion for Technology, you’ll understand that this is always evolving and be adaptable and willing to learn new languages, frameworks, and tools.
  • People skills are crucial in this role, and you’ll have the ability to clearly communicate technical information to non-technical users and translate non-technical user requirements into clear and concise technical specifications.

We’re looking for someone who understands cloud architecture and business processes and how these are implemented at code level. You’ll have a good working knowledge of Azure Development & Azure Integration Services, including Service Bus, Event Grid, Logic Apps, API Management, Bicep for Azure Infrastructure.

The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.
