We are seeking a temporary Systems Development Assistant to support the development and implementation of workflow and process improvement projects within our EHSWise software platform.
EHSWise is a low-code system used to manage business processes, workflows, audits, forms, and compliance activities. The successful candidate will quickly learn the system and work with stakeholders across the business to configure and develop a range of improvement projects already identified in our backlog.

This is an ideal opportunity for a student studying Computer Science, Software Development, Business Systems, Data Analytics, or a similar discipline, or for an individual seeking a short-term technology-focused assignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and understand the EHSWise platform and its configuration tools.
- Develop and implement workflow solutions within EHSWise.
- Build electronic forms, approval processes, dashboards, and reports.
- Test developed workflows and ensure they function correctly before release.
- Create user guidance and simple training materials where required.
- Maintain project documentation and track progress against agreed objectives.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process efficiency improvements.
Essential Skills & Experience Required
- Studying towards, or recently completed, or have demonstrable interest in:
- Computer Science
- Software Engineering
- Information Systems
- Logical problem-solving ability.
- Ability to quickly learn new software platforms.
- Strong attention to detail.

Desirable
- Experience with:
- Low-code or no-code platforms
- Workflow software
- Experience of process mapping or business process improvement.

- Curious and eager to learn.
- Self-motivated and proactive.

- Comfortable asking questions and challenging existing processes.
What Success Looks Like
By the end of the assignment the individual will have:
- Created sustainable workflows that improve efficiency.
- Successfully delivered a number of agreed EHSWise development projects.
- Left a prioritised list of further improvement opportunities for the business.
