About the Role:
We're looking for a proactive and organised Systems Development Coordinator to join our Systems Development Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting and improving the systems that underpin our business. You'll provide first and second-line support to colleagues, help ensure new software developments are thoroughly tested and fit for purpose, and work closely with both internal teams and third-party providers to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement. Whether you're troubleshooting technical problems, managing support tickets or helping to enhance business processes, you'll be instrumental in delivering reliable, user-friendly systems that support our colleagues and customers every day. Training and ongoing support will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career in systems support and business applications.

As Systems Development Coordinator, you'll:
- Provide first and second-line support to users through the Service Desk.
- Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve software issues, escalating and managing support tickets with third-party providers where required.
- Monitor and track system issues through to successful resolution, keeping users informed throughout.
- Support software testing and quality assurance activities, ensuring new developments meet agreed requirements before release.
- Help improve user experience by identifying opportunities to enhance systems, processes and workflows.
- Carry out data processing and database administration activities.
- Ensure company systems and data remain secure by following established policies and procedures.
- Keep up to date with software enhancements, updates and new functionality.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Systems Development Team.
About You:
We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, working collaboratively and delivering excellent customer service. You'll ideally have:
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical colleagues.
- A good understanding of data protection and information security principles.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A strong customer-focused mindset and a genuine desire to help others.
- Confidence using a range of business systems and technology.

It would be great if you also have:
- An understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
- Experience working within an IT Service Desk or technical support environment.
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
