About the Role

Ready to make a real impact? As a Systems Engineer in our Defence – Aviation & Space team, you’ll shape and deliver critical cyber and IT solutions that power national security and mission success. Collaborating with customers, delivery teams, and stakeholders, you’ll synthesise technical requirements, troubleshoot, and design future-proof solutions tailored to complex environments.

  • Contributing across the full systems engineering lifecycle, from concept to deployment in cyber and IT landscapes.
  • Partnering with customers and delivery partners to systematically gather requirements, anticipate challenges, and refine technical approaches.
  • Conducting business analysis, requirements elicitation, and stakeholder engagement to align solutions with evolving mission needs.
  • Overseeing project delivery—planning, risk assessment, project packaging, and coordination of activities.
  • Actively managing stakeholder relationships to ensure requirements are clear, feasible, and scalable, with a focus on delivering measurable positives.
  • Documenting and evolving architectural and business design requirements for current and future projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
