Systems Engineer

The Role
In this full-time Systems Engineering position, you’ll play a pivotal role across critical nuclear projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions. Core responsibilities include:
- Systems engineering delivery – Engaging in requirements engineering, system design, integration planning, and lifecycle management.
- Technical reviews & governance – Supporting structured reviews, system verification, validation, and adherence to project governance standards.
- Collaborative solutions – Working with specialist teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Risk & requirements management – Mitigating project risks and managing technical assumptions throughout the lifecycle.
Hybrid working available (open to discussion).
Key Responsibilities
- Execute systems engineering activities, including:
- Requirements engineering and management
- Interface and integration strategies
- Structural systems architecture
- Contribute to technical reviews (e.g., requirements audits, design reviews, safety reviews).
- Act as a liaison between engineering, procurement, and implementation teams to drive unified solutions.
- Utilise requirements management tools (e.g., tooltware, DOORS) or structured approaches **such as INCOSE standards”.

Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Engineering (or equivalent industry experience).
- Hands-on experience in:
- Requirements breakdown & systems architecture
- Interface management & systemic integration
- Interface verification & structured lifecycle practices
- Expertise collaborating in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Awareness of industry standards (e.g., INCOSE Systems Engineering).
Desirable Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of systems engineering governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with SINT requirements, Risk Analysis, or structured methodology tools**.
- Prior experience in nuclear, defence, or decommissioning industries a bonus.
Security & Access Requirements
