Systems Integration Engineer

We're Growing Our Engineering Team

At Lat51 Space Systems, we're much more interested in finding the right person than the perfect CV.

We're looking for an engineer to join our growing team in Oxfordshire. Whether you're early in your career or already have several years of experience, we're interested in people who enjoy solving engineering problems and building practical solutions.


About the Role

Projects range from:

  • Aerospace test systems
  • Automotive validation equipment
  • Research and development platforms Including mechanical design, instrumentation, control systems, and custom software.

We design, build, and integrate bespoke test, measurement, automation, and validation systems that help our customers develop and verify their products.

Our Ideal Candidate

In an ideal world, we’d love to find someone who combines:

  • Mechanical and/or electrical engineering experience
  • A practical, hands-on engineering mindset
  • An interest in solving complex technical problems
  • The ability to work directly with customers and colleagues
  • Experience in:
    • Designing
    • Integrating
    • Supporting complex engineering systems (test and measurement, automation, control, instrumentation, and data acquisition)
  • LabVIEW experience and an interest in test and measurement systems
  • A full UK driving licence

As part of the team, you’ll be involved in:

  • Designing and building engineering systems
  • Working across mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines
  • Integrating instrumentation, sensors, and control systems
  • Taking customer projects from concept to delivery
  • Contributing to real engineering challenges in highly regulated industries
