About the Role
The Systems & Process Improvement Officer will play a key role in supporting the effective delivery of systems and operational processes across the University of Leeds Advancement team as we head into our new Philanthropic campaign. Working closely with colleagues across fundraising, alumni engagement, and professional services, the role focuses on improving how Advancement teams use their systems and processes in day-to-day activity.

Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Head of Advancement Operations, the postholder will review existing operational processes, document current ways of working, and support the implementation of agreed changes and system enhancements.
- The role will make best use of existing SaaS platforms, automation functionality, and tools to reduce manual and repetitive activity, improve data flow, and ensure business critical workflows operate more efficiently and consistently.
Key Tasks
- The Systems & Process Improvement Officer will apply continuous improvement principles at an operational level, supporting incremental, practical change rather than large-scale system redesign.
- Working within established frameworks, University policies, and the defined Advancement system landscape, the role will help embed sustainable improvements that are clearly documented, measurable, and well adopted by teams.
