Make an Impact at RSM UK – Systems Reporting and UI Developer

We’re recruiting a Systems Reporting and UI Developer to help shape our system reporting & user interface within enterprise platforms, primarily Workday.

About the Role: You’ll work closely with a collaborative, supportive team—supporting the development of your technical skills across:

  • Prism-Data Warehouse
  • Extend-Apps
  • Build-Agents
  • Reporting & Dashboards

You’ll collaborate with business partners from Finance, People, Technology, and Change teams, acting as an internal SME. This means:

  • Presenting, challenging, and mediating differing viewpoints.
  • Proposing solutions that meet business objectives and strategic goals.
  • Collaborating with both internal and external teams to drive results.

You will drive the following outcomes:

  • Develop and deliver Workday and other enterprise system reporting & UI outputs, including custom and advanced reporting.
  • Apply design, development, and governance controls to reports, dashboards, data models, definitions, and logic.
  • Ensure consistent, accurate, and auditable reporting outputs.
  • Partner with subject-matter experts and leadership to turn business requirements into scalable, data-driven insights.
  • Champion automation, standardization, and best practices.
  • Support system upgrades, regression testing, enhancements, and integrations, with a focus on reporting and UI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain system reporting & UI solutions for Workday and other enterprise platforms.
  • Partner with subject-matter experts, leadership, and stakeholders to gather and translate technical requirements.
  • Advocate for getting the data right and producing high-quality, reliable report outputs.
  • Drive automation initiatives that improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Collaborate with Change and IT teams to ensure smooth adoption of reporting solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and evolving technologies.

Requirements & Qualifications

We value diverse experiences and ideas. To thrive in this role, we’re looking for:

  • Hands-on experience with Workday reporting, including:
    • Prinism Data Warehouse
    • Discovery Boards and Dashboards
  • Strong knowledge of other reporting tools as a plus, particularly:
    • Power BI
    • MS Office (Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot, VBA, PowerPoint)
  • **Excellent data skills, including:
    • Data modeling and governance.
    • Ability to derive meaningful insights from complex datasets.
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Adaptability to handle evolving demands and shifting priorities.
  • Well-developed influencing skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and partners.
