Systems Support & Training Advisor

Systems Support & Training Advisor – Peterborough

Key Details

  • Location: Hybrid (initially 4 days a week, reducing upon full training)
  • Salary: £34,248 per annum (spot rate for fully meeting requirements; flexible entry points available)
  • Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday–Friday)
  • Contract: Permanent

About the Role

As a Systems Support & Training Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our internal and third-party systems enhance service delivery, empower colleagues, and facilitate transformation projects. Your expertise will directly improve outcomes for customers, strengthening our customer-centric culture.

Key responsibilities include:

  • System & process optimisation: Supporting upgrades, troubleshooting, and high-value projects.
  • Guiding stakeholders: Assisting colleagues and external teams to maximise system use and effectiveness.
  • ** Training delivery**: Designing and delivering clear, practical training tailored to user needs.
  • Collaborative problem-solving: Working across teams to resolve operational challenges.
  • Customer focus: Aligning system improvements with delivering exceptional service.

What You’ll Bring

To excel in this role, you should demonstrate:

  • Technical expertise: Familiarity with operational systems (incident/problem management) and the ability to troubleshoot issues.
  • Support & integration: Experience providing user support and collaborating with third-party suppliers to resolve technical problems.
  • Training & communication: Proven ability to develop and deliver training (both technical and process-based) during periods of change.
  • Problem-solving: A strong, solution-driven approach to IT/operational challenges.
  • Collaboration: Excellent stakeholder management and cross-team coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail: Organising priorities under tight deadlines while maintaining high standards.

An ideal candidate will also:

  • Be eligible to work in the UK with current documentation.
  • Pass pre-employment security checks (DBS + social media screening).
