About the Role

As a Systems Support & Training Advisor, you'll play a key role in supporting the systems and processes that help colleagues and external contractors deliver excellent services to customers. From system improvements to transformation projects, your work will directly contribute to better outcomes for residents and stronger communities.

You'll support the delivery of key system and transformation projects, helping to ensure systems are effective, user-friendly, and aligned with how services are delivered.

Working collaboratively across the organisation, you'll assist with system upgrades, process improvements, and training, helping colleagues and contractors use systems confidently and effectively.

  • Supporting system upgrades and transformation projects across the organisation
  • Helping colleagues and contractors get the most from systems through guidance and training
  • Identifying and supporting opportunities for system and process improvements
  • Working with stakeholders to implement changes smoothly and effectively
  • Ensuring systems support the delivery of a high-quality service to customers
  • Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation

Salary

The spot salary for the Systems Support & Training Advisor post is £34,248 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. If you're still developing some of the skills or experience, you can start at a salary 5% or 10% below the spot rate, with clear support and progression opportunities to reach the full amount.

You'll Bring:

  • Strong numeracy and IT literacy, with the ability to use operational systems and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Experience supporting system operations, including incident, problem, change, and release management
  • Experience providing technical support to users and working with third-party suppliers to resolve issues and support system integration
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Ability to develop and deliver training on systems and processes to support colleagues through change
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a solution-focused approach to technical and operational challenges

The successful applicant will be subject to pre-employment checks, such as DBS and social media screening, before an offer is confirmed.

Interviews

Planned date: 27th or 28th at the Peterborough office.
