About the Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced logistics and transportation organisation on an interim basis, helping to deliver meaningful improvements across reporting, operational analytics, and commercial decision-making. You will work on high-impact projects, supporting stakeholders across the business to enhance visibility, improve efficiency, and drive better performance through data.

About the Company

They are a large operational business with logistics, warehousing, and transportation operations across multiple regions. Data plays a key role in supporting commercial and operational decision-making, and the BI team is looking to expand its capacity during a period of increased demand. You will join a collaborative environment where your expertise can have an immediate impact on business outcomes.

The Role and Deliverables

  • Develop and enhance Tableau dashboards, operational reports, and performance scorecards for stakeholders across the business.
  • Deliver analysis on fleet utilisation, operational efficiency, and resource performance to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Assess warehouse and transportation operations, identifying opportunities to improve visibility and performance.
  • Support commercial analysis around pricing, profitability, revenue attribution, and customer contract performance.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across multiple business systems and reporting outputs.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Logistics teams to provide actionable insights and deliver lasting reporting improvements.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions in Tableau.
  • Advanced SQL skills and the ability to work confidently with large, complex datasets.
  • Strong Excel capabilities for analysis, reporting, and data validation.
  • Experience building operational reporting, KPIs, scorecards, and business performance dashboards.
  • Proven ability to cleanse, validate, and manage data to maintain reporting accuracy.
  • Experience analysing operational performance, utilisation metrics, resource optimisation, or commercial performance.
  • Comfortable presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative approach.
  • Experience working within logistics, transportation, supply chain, warehousing, or other operationally focused environments.
  • Experience delivering projects that improve efficiency, utilisation, profitability, or revenue performance.
