Job Title: Talent Acquisition Advisor

Department: Talent Acquisition, UK People Team

Reporting to: Talent Acquisition Team Leader

Location: Wescot Credit Services Limited / Orbit Credit Services, Telford, TF3 4NT

Are you passionate about recruitment? Do you enjoy partnering with stakeholders, utilising your ideas and experience to meet demand? Do you understand the Telford jobs market? If so, we’re looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our team in Telford.

This is a full-time, hybrid role, working 35 hours per week (2 days in office / 3 days from home).

The role:

As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will be involved in carrying out the following activities:

  • Working closely with stakeholders to deliver a quality recruitment service. This includes determining the role to be recruited, key skills and accountabilities and writing compelling advertisements which drive responses via job boards and social media.
  • To attract suitable calibre candidates for roles by contacting candidates using direct searching tools including LinkedIn & Indeed Recruiter seats to source, screen, qualify and shortlist candidates for submission against vacancies as appropriate using Boolean search, social media channels and other recruitment networking options.
  • Supporting the hiring process from end-to-end, which includes placing advertisements, acknowledging all responses, screening candidates against key criteria and presenting shortlists to hiring managers.
  • Using Workday ATS to ensure candidate information is updated regularly and kept in line with GDPR regulations.
  • Supporting and guiding the hiring managers as required through the recruitment process and where recruitment knowledge is lacking, ensuring they are following the correct processes, acting impartially, and providing feedback in a timely manner.
  • Interviewing, taking notes and providing feedback as required.
  • Suggesting and implementing ideas which make us more effective as a team will be part of your job and from time to time you may be involved in projects which support talent acquisition.
  • Managing multiple recruitment campaigns at different stages of their lifecycle.

Key Functional Competencies and Skills:

  • Proven recruitment experience of recruiting across various functions including BPOs within Telford & regionally.
  • Demonstrable experience in recruiting finance sector/volume roles with an in-depth understanding of recruitment market and terminology.
  • Experienced in 360° recruiting process including and understanding of relevant employment law.
  • Proven creative ability in developing and implementing effective candidate sourcing strategies.
  • Skilled in direct candidate sourcing including ability to use search strings (e.g., Boolean).
  • Experienced and comfortable in using an ATS / Workday.
  • Delivery and customer focused, capable of managing and prioritising workloads with multiple vacancies and delivering across a variety of requirements.
  • Understanding of wider recruitment related areas including metrics, branding, diversity, talent mobility, social media, and workforce planning.
  • Awareness and understanding of key risks in the recruitment process, including employment legislation, pre-employment screening and regulatory issues.
  • Significant experience of end-to-end recruitment in a busy, fast paced environment in particular volume recruitment.
  • Evidence of stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence, negotiate and communicate effectively with colleagues and candidates at all levels.
  • Good commercial knowledge of a financial services / call centre environment.

Wescot Credit Services is a Contact Centre working with several large UK banks, as well as Credit Card Providers, Energy, Telecoms and others to help recover debts owed to them by their customers. Our team here at Wescot Credit Services have done some amazing initiatives this year all in aid of improving our well-being. We understand the importance of feeling valued and taking time away from our every day-to-day role to feel our best.
