The Talent Business Partner is responsible for leading Mountain Warehouse’s global talent and recruitment strategy, ensuring we attract, hire and retain the right people to support the continued growth of the business.

Managing a team of Talent Acquisition professionals, the role combines hands-on recruitment leadership with wider talent initiatives across employer branding, onboarding, internal mobility, succession planning, and talent pipelining.

The role also owns the ongoing development of our recruitment systems and processes, including Pinpoint ATS and its integration into Dayforce HRIS. A key focus of the role is leading the rollout and development of Dayforce talent modules, helping to shape and improve how the business manages talent, skills, development, and colleague progression globally.

Working closely with stakeholders across the business, the Talent Business Partner plays a key role in shaping how we identify, attract, and engage talent across Mountain Warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition Leadership

  • Lead and manage the global Talent Acquisition function across all territories.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of 6, from Talent Acquisition Managers to Talent Acquisition Administrators.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders and hiring managers to deliver recruitment strategies aligned to business growth plans.
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment delivery for retail, head office, and international hiring.
  • Drive consistency, efficiency, and best practice across all recruitment processes globally.
  • Support succession planning and internal mobility initiatives across the business.

Talent Strategy & Systems Ownership

  • Own the full build, configuration, administration, and ongoing development of the Pinpoint Applicant Tracking System.
  • Lead system optimisation projects to improve candidate experience, recruiter workflows, automation, and reporting capabilities.
  • Act as the primary business owner for the integration of Pinpoint ATS into Dayforce HRIS.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external providers to manage integrations, testing, implementation, and system enhancements.
  • Ensure system compliance with GDPR and global recruitment data standards.
  • Provide a full compliant Right to Work process through the new system capabilities.
  • Develop recruitment dashboards and reporting functionality to support business insight and workforce planning.
  • Own the development, maintenance, and optimisation of the Pinpoint ATS platform.
  • Lead the rollout, development, and ongoing ownership of Dayforce talent modules across the business.
  • Support the implementation of talent functionality including skills mapping, succession planning, talent reviews, and internal development processes.
  • Ensure systems and recruitment processes are compliant, efficient, and fit for purpose.
  • Drive continuous improvement across talent systems and employee lifecycle processes.

Employer Branding & Candidate Experience

  • Develop and deliver employer branding strategies to attract and engage top talent globally.
  • Oversee careers site content, LinkedIn Life page, Glassdoor, Indeed, and social media recruitment campaigns.
  • Support the improvement of employer review scores and brand perception across platforms including Glassdoor and Indeed.
  • Monitor, review, and respond to candidate and colleague reviews in line with employer brand.
  • Use candidate and colleague feedback to identify trends and work with the Core People team to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Enhance the candidate journey and onboarding experience to improve engagement, retention, and overall experience.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to position Mountain Warehouse as an employer of choice across all markets and functions.

  • Analyse recruitment data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure inclusive hiring practices across all regions.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with senior leadership and cross-functional teams including People, IT, Payroll, and Retail.
  • Provide expert recruitment and talent acquisition advice to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Partner with business leaders to influence hiring decisions, talent planning, and growth initiatives.

We Would Like To Meet Someone Who Is

  • Proven experience leading a Talent Acquisition function within a fast-paced, multi-site, or global environment.
  • Experience managing and developing recruitment teams.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with ATS platforms, ideally Pinpoint.
  • Experience leading ATS/HRIS integrations and system implementation projects.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment operations, employer branding, onboarding, and talent strategy.
  • Experience using recruitment data and analytics to drive performance improvements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong project management and change management capability.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and recruitment compliance requirements.
