About Hoffmann Reed
Hoffmann Reed is an international Human Capital Advisory firm helping organisations secure exceptional leadership talent and build high-performing teams.
Globally, we partner with organisations across a broad range of sectors through three core service lines:
- Board & Executive Search
- Interim Leadership
- Human Capital Advisory
In the UK, we specialise in financial services, working with asset owners, asset managers, and the professional advisers and product and service providers that support them.
As our business continues to grow, we are looking to appoint an experienced Talent Acquisition Consultant to support the delivery of a major recruitment programme for one of our clients.
The Opportunity
Working closely with our Chief Executive, you will play a leading role in delivering a significant recruitment programme on behalf of one of our clients.
The role will be split between our office in Ashton-under-Lyne and working on-site with the client, becoming an extension of their talent acquisition function and ensuring an outstanding recruitment experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
This is a hands-on delivery role where you’ll take ownership of multiple recruitment campaigns from initial briefing through to successful appointment. You’ll work with a high degree of autonomy whilst representing Hoffmann Reed professionally and building trusted relationships with our client and their stakeholders.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
