We are looking for an organised, proactive, and driven Talent Acquisition Coordinator to lead our talent attraction, recruitment, and onboarding processes while supporting the continued growth of our organisation.

Role Overview
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be responsible for managing the end-to-end talent acquisition and onboarding process across Nova Stars Group. You will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding Support Workers, Team Leaders, and Executive-level positions as required across the organisation, ensuring all recruitment activity complies with CQC requirements, safer recruitment practices, and internal company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full talent acquisition cycle from advertising vacancies through to appointment and onboarding.
- Source, attract, recruit, and onboard Support Workers, Team Leaders, and Executive-level roles across the group.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
- Create engaging job advertisements and post vacancies across relevant recruitment platforms and channels.
- Screen applications, shortlist candidates, and coordinate interviews.
- Conduct telephone screening and face-to-face/virtual interviews where appropriate.
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines for future staffing needs.
- Ensure all pre-employment checks are completed in line with CQC standards and safer recruitment requirements.
- Coordinate and verify:
- Enhanced DBS checks
- Right-to-work documentation
- References
- Employment history
- Qualification checks
- Any additional compliance documentation
- Manage onboarding activities to ensure new starters have a positive and efficient experience.
- Coordinate induction programmes and ensure all mandatory training requirements are completed.
- Maintain accurate recruitment, candidate, and employee records.
- Work closely with managers and senior leadership teams to identify staffing requirements and support workforce planning.
- Monitor recruitment performance, recruitment metrics, and provide regular reports.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance recruitment processes and candidate experience.

Essential Skills and Experience

- Previous experience within talent acquisition, recruitment, onboarding, or HR administration.
- Experience within healthcare, social care, or CQC-regulated services is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of safer recruitment principles and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of DBS checks, right-to-work legislation, and employment documentation processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and recruitment systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Desirable
- Previous experience recruiting within domiciliary care, supported living, or healthcare environments.
- Knowledge of CQC regulations and staffing requirements.
