Talent Acquisition Coordinator
Haydock HQ / Hybrid Working (Tuesday & Wednesday onsite) 37.5 Hours per Week Sustainable Work-Life Balance (SWLB) – 9-Day Fortnight (Every Other Thursday Off)

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our People Team and support the full recruitment and onboarding lifecycle—from candidate screening to contract generation, compliance checks, and onboarding.
Working collaboratively, you’ll help attract and onboard great talent while contributing to the continued success of the business. This hybrid role (Tuesday & Wednesday onsite, rest remote) includes our Sustainable Work-Life Balance (SWLB) 9-day fortnight, giving every other Thursday off.
About the Role
As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in full recruitment administration and onboarding, ensuring a smooth experience for both candidates and new starters.
You’ll join a **motivated, high-performing Talent Acquisition team that is passionate about delivering a best-in-class recruitment experience.
Responsibilities
Support the recruitment team and wider business in managing the entire recruitment administration and onboarding process, including:
- Conducting initial candidate screening calls, engaging confidently with applicants over the phone.
- Managing a high volume of interview scheduling across multiple business functions.
- Generating contracts of employment and offer documentation.
- Coordinating pre-employment checks, including:
- Right to Work verification
- References
- DBS checks (where applicable)
- Compliance requirements for pre-employment screening
- Overseeing the onboarding journey from offer acceptance through to start date.
- Maintaining accurate candidate records in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Providing regular updates to candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinating new starter requirements, including:
- IT equipment
- PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- System access
- Inductions
- Mandatory training
- Supporting recruitment reporting, events, employer branding, and compliance projects.
- Ensuring full compliance with GDPR, employment legislation, and company policies.

Requirements
We’re looking for:
- A confident communicator comfortable engaging with candidates and stakeholders over the phone.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, especially with contracts, compliance, and records.
- Attention to detail when handling sensitive documentation and onboarding.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering an outstanding candidate experience.
- Previous experience in:
- Recruitment, talent acquisition, HR administration, onboarding, or similar coordination roles.
- Managing pre-employment checks and compliance processes (advantageous).
- A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative, high-performing environment.
- Someone eager to progress within recruitment.
