Talent Acquisition Coordinator | Flatpay | London, White City
This is a brand-new role within our growing UK Talent Acquisition team. Flatpay is expanding quickly across the UK, and we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to help us deliver high-volume recruitment across our sales, customer support and commercial teams.
The Role
This is a hands-on recruitment role focused on candidate screening, pipeline management, proactive sourcing and assessment centre delivery.
You will take ownership of the early stages of the candidate journey, including reviewing applications, conducting screening calls, managing candidate pipelines, sourcing candidates and coordinating interviews and assessment centres.
You will work across several active vacancies at once, many of which are repeat or high-volume hiring campaigns across different UK locations. You will play a central role in keeping those processes organised, maintaining candidate engagement and ensuring hiring activity continues to move at pace.
You will join a small, hands-on Talent Acquisition team and work closely with our Senior Talent Partners. This role would suit someone with experience in recruitment coordination, agency resourcing, talent acquisition or another high-volume recruitment environment who now wants to build broader in-house recruitment experience.
What you will do
- Screen CVs and manage application pipelines across multiple roles simultaneously
- Conduct structured first-stage telephone screening calls with candidates
- Assess candidates against agreed criteria and make clear progression recommendations
- Manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment process
- Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards and other relevant channels
- Coordinate interviews and assessment centres across London and other UK locations
- Support the planning and delivery of assessment centres
- Work closely with Talent Partners and hiring managers to keep recruitment campaigns moving
- Maintain accurate candidate stages, notes and activity within our ATS
- Support with offer preparation and onboarding handovers
- Ensure every candidate receives a professional and timely experience, regardless of outcome
- Identify opportunities to improve the consistency and efficiency of our recruitment processes

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we are looking for
You will have experience working in a high-volume recruitment, resourcing or coordination environment. That experience could come from an in-house recruitment team, agency recruitment, hospitality, retail, logistics or another environment where you have managed large numbers of candidates and competing priorities.
Beyond that, we are looking for:
- Experience reviewing applications or screening candidates
- Confidence conducting telephone screening calls
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several active priorities
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication
- A proactive approach to candidate management and problem-solving
- Someone who takes ownership rather than waiting to be directed
- Strong attention to detail while working at pace
- Experience using ATS platforms, job boards and standard office tools
- Comfort working within structured and repeatable recruitment processes
- The judgement to know when to follow a process and when to raise an issue
What you will gain
You will gain practical experience across candidate sourcing, screening, assessment, stakeholder management, assessment centre delivery and recruitment operations. You will work closely with experienced Talent Partners and gain exposure to the wider recruitment process, with the opportunity to take on greater ownership as the UK team and Talent Acquisition function continue to grow.
