Your Mission
We are seeking a driven and proactive Talent Acquisition Executive (3–5 years’ experience) to lead technical IT hiring across our Bristol operations and support broader UK and EU recruitment. You’ll be an expert in end-to-end recruitment, with a strong grasp of the South West / UK tech talent market and the ability to source globally when needed.
What You'll Do
- As an individual contributor, lead the end-to-end recruitment process for technical (IT) roles—sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placement.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline for roles including AI developers, Forward Deployed Engineers, Full Stack Developers, Technical/Solution Architects, Data Engineers, QA (automation & manual), DevOps specialists, Project Managers, and more.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, technical skills, and team dynamics for effective candidate selection.
- Manage job postings across UK-relevant platforms (LinkedIn, CWJobs, indeed, Reed, Glassdoor, Stack Overflow Jobs, and specialist tech boards), track candidates, and ensure a seamless hiring experience.
- Deploy innovative sourcing strategies—including Boolean search, GitHub, LinkedIn Recruiter, meetups, and Bristol’s tech community networks—to attract passive talent.
- Leverage your knowledge of technical roles to assess candidates for both technical competence and cultural fit.
- Conduct talent mapping to understand the Bristol and wider UK/EU competitive landscape and inform strategic hiring decisions.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Experience with Ceipal is a bonus.
- Consistently meet or exceed staffing targets, time-to-hire benchmarks, and performance metrics.
- Value-Add: Experience recruiting for EU or US-based technical positions is welcomed and will expand the scope of your impact.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
