Full-time (37.5 hours) or part-time (30 hours over 4 days, salary pro rata) £46,000 – £50,000 per annum (depending on experience) + benefits

This Talent Acquisition & Growth Specialist role wears a dual hat:
- Talent Acquisition: Attract, assess, and hire high-calibre candidates who align with our goals and culture.
- Organisational Growth: Partner with leaders to sustain succession planning, agility, and workforce résilience.

Your time will likely split 60% talent acquisition and 40% succession planning & strategic design.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Candidate Experience
- Develop innovative sourcing strategies (e.g., direct sourcing, networking, headhunting, social media).
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment—from job requisition to onboarding—delivering cost-conscious, high-value hires.
- Champion employer branding via social media, job ads, and industry networks.
- Provide seamless candidate journeys, embodying our company values at every touchpoint.
- Champion Diversity, Equality & Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives to build a diverse, impactful workforce.
- Improve colleague engagement (especially during change) through feedback and cultural initiatives.
Strategic Workforce Planning
- Partner with leadership to design and execute change initiatives (e.g., agile workforce restructures).
- Support succession planning, internal mobility, and talent mapping to future-proof teams.
- Guide workforce optimisation, facilitating structural adaptations empathetically and aligned with our ethics.
Performance & Compliance
- Ensure accurate, compliant recruiting and change records (GDPR, UK employment law).
- Track, analyse, and report key metrics to inform data-driven decisions.
Essential Skills & Knowledge
- Expertise in effective sourcing (direct hiring, headhunting, social platforms).
- Strong familiarity with change management principles for restructuring, workforce transitions.
- Legal robustness: UK employment law, GDPR, industry compliance for recruitment and change.
- Employer-branding savvy—aligning marketing to attract top talent.
- Multitasking with precision—manage with urgency and accuracy.
- Proficiency in ATS tools, Microsoft Office, and core data analytics.

Experience & Qualifications
Essential
- 5+ years in Talent Acquisition (proven track record).
- Experience leading organisational change (e.g., restructures, workforce optimisation).
- CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent HR qualification).
Desirable
- Succession/pathway frameworks—proven expertise in building/revising them.
- Financial industry background—knowing the sugar-coatings of compliance-heavy hiring.
