Hours: Full-Time (36.25 hours) | Part-Time Considered

Join a growing organisation where people are at the heart of the business.

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are delighted to be recruiting for a Talent Acquisition & HR Officer on behalf of a well-established and highly respected professional services organisation with multiple offices across Devon and Somerset.

This is an exciting fixed-term opportunity for an experienced recruitment or HR professional who enjoys building relationships, delivering an outstanding candidate experience, and supporting wider people initiatives. The successful candidate can be based from any of the organisation’s offices across Devon or Somerset, with hybrid working available. Occasional travel between sites will be required.

The Role

As Talent Acquisition & HR Officer, you’ll take ownership of the recruitment process while supporting the wider People Team with a variety of HR activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from advertising vacancies and sourcing candidates through to offers and onboarding.
  • Partnering with hiring managers to understand recruitment requirements and provide expert recruitment support.
  • Coordinating interviews, assessments and candidate communications, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Managing recruitment administration in line with GDPR and employment legislation.
  • Developing relationships with recruitment agencies, education providers and external organisations to support attraction initiatives.
  • Representing the business at careers fairs, schools, colleges, universities and recruitment events.
  • Maintaining and developing the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) while supporting managers in its effective use.
  • Coordinating onboarding activities, including references, compliance checks and induction plans.
  • Supporting wider HR administration across the employee lifecycle, including leaver processes and employee relations administration.
  • Producing recruitment and HR reports, analysing data and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
