About the role
As a Talent Acquisition Lead with Wiltshire Police, you will lead and support recruitment activity across a diverse range of roles and hiring campaigns. Working closely with hiring managers and stakeholders, you will develop attraction and recruitment strategies, provide expert advice, and deliver successful hiring outcomes. You will ensure an efficient, inclusive, and positive recruitment experience for candidates and managers throughout the recruitment process.

What you will be doing
- End-to-End Recruitment: Own the recruitment process from strategy creation to onboarding, ensuring a smooth experience for all stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work with various departments, including Vetting, Occupational Health, L&D, IT, and Uniforms, to coordinate and streamline the onboarding process.
- KPI Management: Monitor and report on key performance indicators such as time to offer, time to hire, and candidate management.
- Proactive Sourcing: Utilise multiple channels to identify and attract top talent, including headhunting and advising on market trends.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with hiring managers, providing guidance and support to meet their recruitment needs.
- Labour Market Intelligence: Use data to inform decision-making and improve recruitment practices.
- Talent Acquisition Best Practices: Advocate for inclusive hiring practices and promote our brand as an employer of choice.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to ATS governance and maintain high data accuracy.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in recruitment events, represent the organisation, and work on projects to enhance our recruitment function.
About you and your experience
Essential Qualifications:
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or relevant experience in HR/Recruitment.
Essential Experience:
- Proven track record in end-to-end recruitment.
- Development of effective recruitment strategies.
- Working with KPIs in a recruitment context.
- Sourcing candidates across various platforms and/or effective volume pipeline management.
- Stakeholder management.
- Strong ability to make data-led decisions across volume or non-volume hiring, i.e., drop-off rates, conversion rates, interview to offer ratio.
