Hawkwood are excited to be partnering with a globally recognised software business who have created market leading technology that is trusted by many of the world's leading film, television and creative studios. Their products are used to create some of the biggest and most recognisable productions in the industry and, as they evolve and grow, they need to focus on hiring key talent!
About the Role
This role will report to the Director of People and is a brilliant opportunity to take ownership of the entire Talent function in a role that combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You'll lead recruitment across all teams (from software engineering up to executive hiring), while driving the talent projects that will shape how the business attracts, hires, and develops exceptional people.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end recruitment across the business, leading hiring from software engineering through to senior leadership and executive hires.
- Partner with hiring managers and senior leaders to shape hiring strategies, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Lead strategic Talent projects across recruitment operations, employer brand, governance, process improvement, and internal mobility.
- Use market insights and hiring data to influence hiring decisions, salary benchmarking, and future talent planning.
- Coach and support hiring managers to deliver an outstanding, consistent candidate experience.
- Continuously improve recruitment processes, systems, and ways of working, ensuring Talent continues to evolve alongside the business.

Who We're Looking For
- Experience working in Talent Acquisition in a tech scale-up, bringing a track record of hiring software engineers.
- Experience balancing strategic Talent projects with hands-on recruitment delivery.
- Confident partnering with senior stakeholders and able to influence and challenge with credibility.
- Comfortable working autonomously and managing multiple priorities in a standalone role.
- Strong direct sourcing experience across technical and business functions, with exposure to leadership hiring.
- Someone who enjoys building, improving, and creating Talent practices that have a genuine impact on the wider business.
