Talent Acquisition & Learning & Development Advisor
TALENT ACQUISITION LEADER Area Support Office, Manchester Salary: Up to £35,000 per year
Company Description
This is an exciting opportunity for someone driven by attracting and nurturing top talent. Ideal candidates have experience in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, or people leadership, with extensive hiring experience. In this role, you’ll lead high-level recruitment for critical positions (Head of Department, Managers, and Area Office roles) while driving learning and development across hotels and headquarters.
About the Role
You’ll act as a strategic partner in talent attraction and development, ensuring our organisations are staffed with exceptional professionals while fostering a culture of growth.
What You’ll Do
Talent Acquisition
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for senior leadership roles (Head of Department, Managers, Area Support Office positions) and business-critical vacancies.
- Develop and implement candidate attraction strategies, blending traditional sourcing, social media, and creative talent engagement methods.
- Ensure exceptional experiences for both candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment cycle.
- Support employer branding initiatives, recruitment campaigns, and high-volume hiring projects—including new hotel openings.
- Mentor hiring managers on best practices in interview techniques, assessment, and ATS (Applicant Tracking System) navigation.
- Track recruitment performance via data-driven insights, refining processes to enhance hiring success.
- Maintain compliance, accurate records, and alignment with company-wide recruitment standards.

Learning & Development
- Design and deliver engaging in-person and virtual training, both classroom-based and interactive.
- Collaborate on the annual learning calendar and key development programs.
- Train and certify Hotel Trainers to lead corporate training initiatives.
- Oversee Learning Management System (LMS) records and generate insightful reports.
- Promote learning opportunities, onboarding programs, and career-development initiatives across the business.
- Ensure compliance training is met, and mandatory learning requirements are achieved.
Qualifications & Requirements
What You’ll Bring to the Role:
- A proven track record of leading recruitment activities, whether in Talent Acquisition, HR, or operational leadership.
- Sharp interviewing and candidate assessment skills with a keen eye for identifying talent.
- Handbook experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Strong preference (though not always mandatory) for candidates with training, coaching, or L&D support experience.
- Outstanding communication, organisation skills, and stakeholder management capability.
- A collaborative, proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
