Talent Attraction (Sourcing) Specialist | Research & Development

Location: London (Hybrid)
Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term Contract

We're partnering with a leading global pharmaceutical organisation to recruit a Talent Attraction Specialist to support hiring across a world-class Research & Development function. This is an opportunity to play a key role in identifying and engaging the scientists, clinicians, digital specialists and innovators who will shape the future of healthcare.

Working within a high-performing Talent Attraction team, you'll partner with Talent Acquisition colleagues, hiring managers and business leaders to develop proactive sourcing strategies, build high-quality talent pipelines and provide market insight across a broad range of R&D disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver strategic sourcing plans aligned to business hiring priorities and workforce planning.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines across scientific, clinical, digital, data, AI and other specialist R&D functions.
  • Conduct market mapping, competitor analysis and talent landscape research to identify high-calibre candidates.
  • Utilise advanced sourcing techniques, talent intelligence platforms and AI-enabled tools to engage passive talent.
  • Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition teams to deliver strong candidate shortlists and improve hiring outcomes.
  • Analyse sourcing data and market trends to continually optimise attraction strategies and pipeline quality.
  • Champion diversity and inclusive sourcing practices throughout the recruitment process.

Experience

  • 5+ years' experience in Talent Acquisition, Executive Search, Talent Attraction or Strategic Sourcing.
  • Experience recruiting within life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, healthcare or another highly specialised sector.
  • A proven track record of sourcing scientific, technical, digital or business-critical talent.
  • Strong market mapping and talent intelligence experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders in a complex organisation.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM systems, talent intelligence platforms and AI-enabled sourcing tools.
  • A data-driven approach to sourcing, pipeline management and continuous improvement.
