Head of Talent Acquisition (Professional Services) – 4-Month Fixed-Term

About the Role

We have an active hiring plan and need an experienced Talent Acquisition professional to deliver it. This is a focused, four-month role for someone who is immediately available and can hit the ground running.

Unity Advisory is a finance advisory firm trusted by CFOs and senior finance leaders through complex, high-stakes transformation. Backed by Warburg Pincus, we’re scaling deliberately—and right now, we need additional TA bandwidth to keep pace.

We are not the Big Four. We’re high-agency and commercially serious, where performance is measured by outcomes, not activity. For the right person, this is a chance to do excellent work at pace, in a firm that takes hiring seriously.

The Role

We’re adding depth to a high-performing TA team for four months. You’ll bring immediate capacity, sharing ownership of live hiring across all levels—staff to senior executives.

Working closely with the CPO, you’ll run the full recruitment lifecycle, from Senior Associate to Director, and support our senior pipeline. You’ll have direct access to hiring managers and Partners from Day One. No long ramp-up period—we need someone who can start now, pick up live roles quickly, and deliver without delay.

Key Responsibilities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

  • Drive the pipeline – Proactively source candidates via LinkedIn, networking, and direct outreach (beyond just job board responses). Build warm pipelines swiftly, leveraging AI and data tools to accelerate time-to-shortlist and support senior-level searches end-to-end.

  • Run an exceptional recruitment process – Own hiring for Senior Associate through Director, ensuring a consistently high-quality candidate experience. Work closely with hiring managers and Partners, maintaining discipline in briefing, timelines, and decision-making.

  • Keep the process running smoothly – Manage the ATS efficiently, track critical metrics (time-to-hire, conversion rates, offer acceptance), and optimise workflows to leave the process in better shape than you found it.

  • Be the voice of Unity – Act as a guru in the market. Ensure every candidate leaves knowing who we are, why we’re different, and why they should work with us.

Requirements

Essential Criteria

  • Immediately available – Must be ready to start at short notice and commit to the full four-month term.

  • Specialist knowledge in at least one of: Deals & Financial Due Diligence (FDD), Office of the CFO / Finance Transformation, or Tax.
  • Proven success in securing exceptional hires at Manager to Director level.
  • Credible with Partner and Director-level talent – considered, but not overly cautious.
  • Zero onboarding needed – ability to start immediately and deliver at full pace with minimal ramp.
