We have an exciting opportunity in a Worcester-based role (with a balance of home and office working) for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to lead recruitment for our Housing and Property business area.


Role Overview

Position: Talent Acquisition Manager - Housing and Property Location: Worcester (hybrid) Salary: £45,736–£48,157 per year (subject to a performance review after 12 months) Hours: 35 hours per week


About the Role

This is a newly created role within the wider Talent Acquisition and Experience team, overseeing recruitment for our Housing and Property divisions. You will lead the establishment of a high-quality, data-driven resourcing service designed to attract, select, and retain the best talent—aligning with current and future business needs.

The role requires a strategic thinker with managerial recruitment experience who can collaborate closely with hiring managers, deliver results-driven recruitment projects, and drive operational efficiency. You’ll be a key partner in shaping our ta Greenland Strategy and providing business-critical support to acquire top-level employees.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Development

  • Lead the design and implementation of a new end-to-end recruitment service, improving measurable outcomes such as time to hire and savings in hiring manager time, while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Work with senior stakeholders to develop a future-proof talent acquisition strategy, including warehouse-value workforce analysis and next-level market benchmarking.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and group leadership, becoming a trusted advisor for recruitment-related decisions.

Process & Operations

  • Review and optimise resourcing approaches, analysing existing policies, market trends, and cost/impact metrics to continually improve processes.
  • Implement and maintain employer branding initiatives, contributing to the formulation and execution of group advertising strategies to maximise reach and attractiveness to high-calibre candidates.
  • Oversee recruitment campaigns and data reporting, ensuring efficient use of resources and a strong ROI (return on investment).
  • Manage relationships with agency suppliers and vendors, securing value-added services while maintaining budget alignment.

Compliance & Management

  • Ensure all recruitment practices adhere to legislative, regulatory, and best-practice standards, mitigating risks while promoting fairness and equal opportunity.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing recruitment team (Specialists, Advisors, and Planners), fostering growth and providing mentorship.
  • Contribute to employee experience initiatives, including unconscious bias training and continuous recruitment process improvements.

Project Delivery

  • Lead high-impact recruitment projects and critical hires (including leadership roles) to support personnel decisions across the business.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experienced talent acquisition management, preferably at a senior/stategic level.
  • Proven track record of delivering and monitoring an end-to-end recruitment process (full-cycle hiring, sourcing, interviewing, candidate management).
  • Deep knowledge of resourcing strategies, equity and diversity frameworks, and cost-effective recruitment solutions.
  • Experience developing and maintaining relationships with hiring managers and executive stakeholders.
  • Managing of third-party suppliers (agencies, contractors) and oversight of high-stakes recruitment campaigns.
  • Current understanding of British employment legislation, data protection (GDPR), and recruitment compliance.
  • Leadership experience in managing and growing a skilled recruitment team (advisors, customer service roles).
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with demonstrated ability to drive improvements through data.
  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills—ability to promote a collaborative and solution-focused culture.
  • Experience using web-based Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and core HR platforms (e.g., SAP HR).
  • Intermediate Microsoft 365 proficiency.
