Role description:
We are looking for an In-House Recruiter (6-month fixed-term contract, with potential extension) to support the delivery of a large-scale internal hiring project.
In this role, you will take ownership of coordinating and project managing high-volume recruitment activity across multiple stakeholders, ensuring that hiring plans are delivered efficiently and in line with business priorities.
Working closely with hiring managers, HR colleagues, and the wider Talent Acquisition team, you will act as a key internal partner—driving alignment, managing competing priorities, and ensuring recruitment processes are executed consistently and at pace.
This role is focused on internal delivery rather than external sourcing, with a strong emphasis on stakeholder management, requisition oversight, and operational excellence across the recruitment lifecycle. You will also work closely with Recruitment Administrators, providing guidance and ensuring effective coordination of day-to-day activity.
In this role, you will be part of a global talent acquisition function.
Role accountabilities:
As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering recruitment activity across a complex, high-volume project environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the primary point of contact for hiring managers, providing guidance on recruitment processes, timelines, and priorities
- Managing and overseeing a high volume of requisitions, ensuring roles are correctly raised, tracked, and progressed in a timely manner
- Project managing recruitment activity across multiple business areas, balancing competing priorities and ensuring delivery against agreed hiring plans
- Coordinating closely with Recruitment Administrators to ensure seamless execution of recruitment processes, including shortlisting, scheduling, and offer management
- Driving alignment across stakeholders to ensure clarity on hiring needs, timelines, and decision-making
- Monitoring recruitment progress and identifying risks, bottlenecks, or delays, proactively implementing solutions to keep delivery on track
- Ensuring accurate and consistent use of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), maintaining data integrity and supporting reporting requirements
- Supporting the continuous improvement of recruitment processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and candidate experience
- Championing a structured, organised approach to recruitment delivery, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practice across the project

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
