About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and inquisitive Talent Partner to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role will focus on attracting and hiring exceptional technical talent during an exciting period of growth.
This role requires someone who is naturally curious, enjoys learning about complex technologies, and is confident building relationships with engineers, scientists, and technical specialists.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for technical and engineering positions across semiconductor, photonics, optics, and related disciplines.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, team capabilities, and future hiring needs.
- Develop innovative sourcing strategies to identify passive and active candidates within highly specialised talent markets.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical technical roles.
- Conduct candidate screening and coordinate robust interview processes.
- Act as a trusted recruitment partner, providing market insight, talent intelligence, and hiring recommendations.
- Challenge hiring assumptions where appropriate and offer creative solutions to difficult-to-fill vacancies.
- Deliver an outstanding candidate experience through clear communication and timely feedback.
- Promote the organisation's culture, technology, and employee value proposition to prospective candidates.
- Manage offers and support candidates through to successful onboarding.

Experience & Attributes
- Proven experience recruiting for semiconductor, optics, photonics, or other highly technical engineering environments.
- Experience managing end-to-end recruitment for specialist technical roles.
- Demonstrated success sourcing passive candidates within niche technical markets.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence hiring decisions.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Naturally curious and inquisitive, with a genuine interest in understanding complex technologies and technical roles.
- Comfortable asking insightful questions to fully understand business needs.
- Proactive and resourceful, with a creative approach to sourcing hard-to-find talent.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
