About the Position

The position of Talent Acquisition Partner is a fixed-term contract role, reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager within our HR team based in the London, Elephant and Castle office.

Candidates will be offered a salary (depending on experience) with a 7.5% bonus, alongside the opportunity for 3 days in-office and 2 days remote work following the initial adjustment period.

Job Purpose

To deliver end-to-end recruitment solutions, particularly for engineering sector vacancies, with a focus on:

  • Enhancing customer satisfaction
  • Setting ** performance benchmarks**
  • Ensuring high recruitment standards

Dimensions of the Role

Ideal candidates should be:

  • Proactive, enthusiastic, methodical, and adaptable team players
  • Strong in interpersonal and customer-facing skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with a preference for accuracy
  • Preferable experience in talent acquisition or HR/recruitment, enabling quick alignment with candidate needs and proactive problem-solving

Principal Accountabilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and refine recruitment strategies to attract suitable candidates.
  • Utilise recruiting tools (job boards, social media, databases, search engines, networking) to build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future roles.
  • Develop networks of top engineering talent, gather market intelligence, and assess candidate fit.
  • Attend industry-specific events (e.g., trade fairs, networking events).
  • Offer support to Recruitment Coordinators in:
    • Scheduling and managing on-site/off-site interviews (e.g., booking rooms, coordinating expenses)

Requirements & Experience

Must Have

✔ Recruitment experience (agency or in-house) ✔ Strong knowledge/experience in the Engineering or Utility sector ✔ Ability to work collaboratively with teams ✔ Excellent customer focus (written, verbal, email, face-to-face communication) ✔ Proficiency in compliance and legislation application ✔ Skilled in managing HR and business manager relationships

Ideally Have

✔ HR-specific qualifications or experience ✔ Capacity to meet time-sensitive requests (information updates, project-related COI) ✔ Competency in driving improvement for the recruitment team through new initiatives
