Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist Location: Barcelona, Spain or London, UK Craft / Department: ABK International Talent Team Reports To: Talent Acquisition Team Lead Requisition ID: R0027090
About the Role
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, your mission is to manage and deliver effective recruitment outcomes across a range of roles and disciplines. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and cross-functional partners to implement recruitment strategies that align with the business’s evolving needs, while driving best-in-class candidate and stakeholder experiences.
You’ll operate confidently across varied recruitment scenarios, owning the lifecycle for assigned roles and evolving into a key consultative partner for stakeholders. Your structured, improvement-focused approach will ensure every interaction is two-way—balancing speed with accuracy—while championing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for a diverse range of roles, levels, and geographic boundaries across functions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Build strong working relationships with hiring managers and HR Business Partners (HRBPs), advising on role requirements, market conditions, and best hiring practices.
- Act as a trusted subject-matter expert, influencing hiring decisions through consultation rather than hands-on execution.
- Inclusive Communication:
- Deliver crystal-clear, compassionate communication to candidates and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and a positive experience.
- DE&I Champion: Embed DE&I principles into sourcing, job design, and candidate evaluation to create fair, representative recruitment pipelines.
- Technology & Data-Driven Recruitment:
- Proficiency in ATS platforms (e.g., Workday) and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter) to track pipelines, measure performance, and ensure data accuracy.
- Structured Assessment: Support structured interviewing processes and assess candidates against agreed criteria.
- Cross-Functional Engagement: Collaborate with Employer Brand, People Operations, and team members to execute efficient hiring campaigns and projects.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify small-scale efficiencies to improve the recruitment and candidate experience.
- Proactively contribute ideas to drive wider TA team enhancements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
