The Role

  • Contract type: 6 month fixed term contract

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the People Team on a 6 month fixed term contract basis!

As a trusted partner to the business, you’ll lead recruitment activity across head office functions in all of our markets; UK, US, Switzerland and Denmark. – from initial brief through to offer. You'll be the go-to contact for all things hiring in your area, driving best-practice recruitment, ensuring candidate experience is front and centre, and continuously improving how we work.

This is a hybrid role, working in our London office 2 days a week.

Responsibilities include:

  • Act as the central point of contact for recruitment across designated departments
  • Own and deliver full-cycle hiring using direct sourcing strategies (LinkedIn, job boards, events)
  • Build proactive pipelines of high-quality candidates and manage talent pools with a personal touch
  • Coach and support hiring managers, ensuring confident, inclusive and efficient hiring decisions
  • Collaborate with the People Team to embed inclusive, data-led processes that evolve as we grow
  • Help shape our employer brand and champion recruitment innovation through AI and automation
  • Manage third-party relationships (agencies, platforms) ensuring they reflect PureGym’s values
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics to drive data-informed decision-making

The Person

You’re a proactive, hands-on recruiter with the ability to build strong relationships, manage priorities at pace, and work with real purpose.

  • Comfortable using data and insights to guide decisions and report on results
  • Highly organised, with strong admin, process and attention-to-detail skills
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and passionate about delivering a great candidate experience
  • A true team player who cares about inclusion and reflects that in hiring practices
  • Ability to work from the London office 2+ days/week
  • Comfortable working a flexible working day/week to support hiring in all markets

Qualifications & Skills

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of personal end to end delivery of roles across a head office function, in a fast-paced environment (ideally a combination of agency and in-house).

  • Skilled at direct sourcing and creative thinking when tackling hard-to-fill roles
  • A confident stakeholder manager – able to influence across all levels of the business
  • Excellent administration skills and particular attention to detail/accuracy.
  • ATS experience in Dayforce, Talentsoft, Recruitee, Paylocity beneficial
