Talent Acquisition Executive

We’re recruiting a Talent Acquisition Executive to join our People team and help attract, engage and hire great colleagues across the business. This is a hands-on recruitment role with responsibility for full life-cycle hiring, candidate experience and building strong relationships with hiring managers.

The job:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned roles, from briefing hiring managers to onboarding successful candidates for Warehouse, Logistics, Retail and customer services.
- Write clear, compelling job adverts and advertise roles across appropriate channels including job boards, social media and professional networks.
- Screen CVs, conduct telephone and video interviews, coordinate assessment activities and provide timely feedback to candidates and hiring managers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, advise on recruitment best practice and shape selection processes.
- Proactively source candidates using CV databases, social media and networking to create a diverse talent pipeline.
- Manage applicant tracking system (ATS) records and recruitment metrics to ensure accurate data and timely reporting.
- Support employer brand and candidate experience initiatives, ensuring a positive, professional impression at every touchpoint.
- Ensure recruitment activity complies with employment law, equal opportunities and internal policies.

Who do we want?
Essential:
- Previous experience (typically 1–3 years) in a recruitment or talent acquisition role, ideally in warehousing and/or logistics or retail or a fast-paced service business.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
- Confident using an ATS, Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and online sourcing tools.
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple vacancies and priorities to tight deadlines.
- Good assessment and interviewing skills with a consistent, fair approach to candidate selection.

Desirable:
- Experience of volume recruitment and campus or early careers hiring.
- Knowledge of employment legislation and safer recruitment practices.
- Experience of employer branding, social recruiting or recruitment marketing campaigns.
