Talent Acquisition Specialist: Technology & Product

Location: Bristol

Reports to: Talent Acquisition Manager

The Opportunity

We are looking for an exceptional Talent Acquisition Specialist with a proven track record of hiring Technology and Product talent. (This is not a role for someone who relies on job adverts and waits for applications to arrive). We need a proactive talent hunter with a direct sourcing mindset, someone who thrives on identifying, engaging, and securing exceptional talent before competitors do.

You will partner closely with senior stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Technology, and Leadership teams, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the hiring process.

Success in this role requires outstanding communication skills, strong stakeholder management capability, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced, highly matrixed organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment across Technology and Product functions.
  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify passive and hard-to-find talent.
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for critical and future hiring needs.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand business priorities and hiring requirements.
  • Challenge, influence, and manage stakeholder expectations to ensure realistic and successful hiring outcomes.
  • Deliver exceptional candidate experiences from first engagement through to offer acceptance.
  • Use market intelligence, talent mapping, and competitor research to inform hiring strategies.
  • Work collaboratively across a complex, multi-layered matrix environment, balancing competing priorities and stakeholder needs.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Troi whilst onsite with our client.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
