As our new Talent Acquisition Specialist – Flight Operations you will be a key part of a high performing internal recruitment team responsible for delivering the resourcing needs for our Flight Operations departments.
You will proactively manage internal and external candidates, as well as stakeholder relationships. Delivering a professional service to the business that results in the sourcing of high calibre Pilots and Flight Operations colleagues to our growing business.

What will you do in the role?
This is a highly visible role in the Talent Acquisition team, and you will be responsible for the sourcing and delivery of Pilot & Flight Operations candidates against the headcount plan for our ongoing recruitment campaigns.

Working closely with the Talent Acquisition Partners the role will include:
- Candidate Sourcing: You'll work hard to attract best in class candidates using a range of platforms including LinkedIn Recruiter, our applicant tracking system and through marketing campaigns. You'll promote roles, culture and benefits, and where they sit in the process, to ensure a first-class experience, right the way through to onboarding and beyond.
- Employer Branding: You will support in the delivery of Pilot Roadshows (in-person events) hosted at locations in the UK and abroad, as well as webinars and occasional industry careers events such as Pilot Careers Live.
- Assessment Centre Reviews & Development: You will support the Talent Acquisition Partners to review candidate performance at regular assessment centres, as well as identify opportunities to improve assessment centre exercises and interviews.
- Research, Data and Analytics: You’ll work closely with Talent Acquisition Partners to provide regular and ad-hoc reports for key stakeholders
- Compliance: You will champion ATS compliance for requisition and candidate management
What are the key skills / experience you’ll already have?

You’ll have a proven track record of delivering a high calibre recruitment service in a fast-paced environment, ideally from aviation or recruitment agency.
Key Skills Include
- A good understanding of aviation industry, ideally with some experience of working within the industry
- Strong understanding of sourcing techniques and how to build warm pipelines to support delivery against ongoing volume recruitment campaigns
- Excellent at communicating to both internal hiring managers, candidates and the external market. You’ll work tirelessly to keep everyone in the loop
- A strong personal brand. You’ll be active on social media i.e. LinkedIn, etc talking all things Talent
- Creativity and persistence in abundance with an enthusiasm for delivering a great candidate and customer experience as well as working knowledge of recruitment best practice, including processes and regulation
- Comfortable working compliantly within defined processes and well organised
