Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Specialist identifies high-quality candidates through networking, resume searches, and maintaining a network of both active and passive candidates. This role involves working closely with hiring managers to shape recruitment strategies, screening applicants, and participating in recruitment events.

Responsibilities include:

  • Handling recruitment-related administrative tasks
  • Safeguarding confidential information with integrity
  • Leveraging digital platforms to enhance HR processes

Role Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively network to identify and engage with potential candidates.
  • Conduct thorough resume searches and initiate first contact with promising applicants.
  • Maintain and expand a database of active and passive candidates.
  • Utilise diverse sourcing techniques, including job boards and social media.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to align hiring needs with recruitment strategies.
  • Support the development of recruiting strategies tailored to business goals.
  • Screen candidates, assess fit, and assist in interview scheduling.
  • Participate in career fairs and recruitment events to enhance visibility.
  • Ensure reliable execution of recruitment administration to keep processes running smoothly.

  • Strategic Talent Sourcing – Intermediate expertise in identifying top talent using data-driven methods, targeted recruitment marketing, and deep market insights.

  • Digital HR Tools – Intermediary proficiency in:

    • HR management systems (payroll, applicant tracking systems, performance evaluations)
    • Designing frameworks for process efficiency and technical integration.
  • Experience with ATS (iCIMS) – Intermediate familiarity with tracking applicant workflows, managing pipelines, and ensuring seamless HR integration.

  • Microsoft Excel Expertise – Ability to handle data with:

    • Formulas, functions, pivot tables
    • Advanced data visualisation and analytics.
  • Virtual Meeting Management – Knowledge of video conferencing platforms to:

    • Host engaging sessions
    • Troubleshoot technical complications
    • Facilitate inclusive participant interaction.

Additional Requirements

  • Education: Completed Bachelor’s degree or equivalent aftermarket experience.
  • Experience: 2–4 years in talent acquisition or a related field.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel to SHI, Partner, or Customer Events.
  • Travel: Capacity to travel up to 10% of the time on company business.
