Description

Role Overview

As a Talent Specialist for Retail across the UK & Ireland, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional end-to-end recruitment experience while attracting, engaging, and hiring outstanding retail talent. Working closely with retail leadership, HR Business Partners, and key stakeholders, you will build strong talent pipelines, support strategic workforce planning, and ensure recruitment activity aligns with business priorities.

This is a fast-paced, relationship-driven role requiring excellent stakeholder management, organisation, and the ability to balance multiple recruitment projects across our 70+ flagship and regional locations.

This role sits in our Talent umbrella within our Global People and Purpose Team, reporting to the Global Talent Acquisition Lead and will see you collaborating across the entire team!

Key Responsibilities

What will you do?

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for retail & Spa positions across the UK & Ireland such as Therapists, Counter Managers, and Sales Consultants sourcing and securing diverse and high-quality talent for ELEMIS.
  • Manage ‘always-on' hiring campaigns to ensure ELEMIS is promoted to target audiences and we have qualified talent pipelines to proactively meet hiring requirements.
  • Self-manage key metrics to reflect your productivity and performance against SLA’s, joining the dots in the data to continuously optimise delivery, sharing insights with key stakeholders.
  • Deliver a high-touch candidate and stakeholder experience that reflects our brand values, prioritising continuous communication, support, and partnership to all parties.
  • Embed talent assessment frameworks for hiring managers to better assess candidates against criteria enabling data-driven decision-making and improving the quality of each hire.
  • Advocate for our talent development initiatives and progression pathways for our retail employees, supporting individuals on their journey to develop within ELEMIS.
  • Partner with hiring managers and key People Team stakeholders to understand hiring priorities, organisational changes, strategic workforce plans, and future talent needs.
  • Own the relationship with our key education and careers partners (including Beauty Colleges and The Kings Trust) to ensure ELEMIS participate in all programs and enable employment opportunities for key audiences.
  • Utilise the Applicant Tracking System (Pinpoint) to manage recruitment activity, maintain accurate candidate records, and ensure compliance with recruitment processes.
  • Ownership of various Talent projects across a broad range of topics from System Integrations to Employer Branding and Early Careers, impacting the delivery of our strategic roadmap.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and increase hiring efficiency.

  • Experience and passion for luxury and retail: you know what exceptional service looks and feels like and stay connected to what’s happening on the ground in the retail maintaining a strong understanding of the retail landscape.
  • Strong stakeholder management: you build trust at all levels and are able to influence.
  • Problem solver: you are curious, gather information, and can work things through to identify solutions to problems big or small.
  • Proactive approach: you build intelligence to inform sourcing activity and nurture talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
  • Project management: able to take initiatives and projects through from idea to delivery, collaborating, and managing milestones to deliver on-time and to standard.
  • Analytical mindset: you own your data, analysing this to tell the story of your performance, spotting opportunities to optimise delivery.
  • AI fluency: you embrace AI, engaging in experimentation and applying learnings to your everyday work to boost productivity and quality of output.
