Job Description

We are currently recruiting a passionate and experienced Talent & Development Consultant to join our Talent & Development team, supporting our Commercial and Central Functions across Sysco GB.

Reporting to the Talent & Development Business Partner, this role plays a key part in executing our Talent & Development Strategy, helping to build leadership capability, strengthen talent pipelines and support business performance. Working closely with HR Business Partners, business leaders and subject matter experts, you will design, deliver and embed impactful learning and talent solutions that create lasting behavioural change and support our future growth ambitions.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced talent and development professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, facilitating engaging programmes and turning strategic priorities into practical development solutions that make a measurable difference.

This role offers a remote working arrangement from anywhere within the UK.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Execute the Talent & Development Strategy across Commercial and Central Functions, ensuring learning and talent initiatives are aligned to business priorities.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to identify capability needs and deliver effective development solutions.
  • Design, facilitate and embed high-quality blended learning programmes that build leadership, professional and behavioural capability.
  • Manage learning and talent initiatives from planning through to implementation, ensuring delivery to agreed timelines and quality standards.
  • Deliver engaging workshops, development programmes and learning interventions that drive business performance and colleague growth.
  • Support talent development, succession planning and leadership capability initiatives to strengthen talent pipelines across the business.
  • Measure programme effectiveness and use feedback, data and insight to continuously improve the learner experience and demonstrate business impact.
  • Build strong relationships with leaders, HR colleagues and subject matter experts to ensure successful implementation and adoption of development initiatives.
  • Support strategic Talent initiatives, including apprenticeship, graduate and centralised development programmes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Talent & Development team to share best practice, improve consistency and drive continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to wider Sysco GB and European Talent programmes where required.

About You:

You'll have experience within Talent & Development or Learning & Development and be confident designing, delivering and embedding learning solutions that drive capability and performance. You will be a strong facilitator with the ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders at all levels.

We're looking for someone who is organised, commercially aware and passionate about helping people develop and succeed.

You will ideally have:

  • Experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development or Organisational Development.
  • Experience designing and delivering blended development programmes.
  • Strong facilitation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Experience evaluating learning effectiveness and using insights to drive improvement.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within a matrix organisation.
