The role blends partnering, facilitation and insight. You’ll help leaders apply clear, consistent performance expectations, build confidence in performance conversations, and strengthen leadership capability so NHG has the talent and pipelines it needs for the future.
How you’ll make a difference
You’ll help strengthen NHG’s talent and performance culture by:
- Working with leaders and people partners to embed consistent, values-aligned performance practices
- Supporting effective talent-review and succession processes that identify potential and future capability needs
- Helping leaders build confidence in performance conversations and feedback
- Supporting leadership and management development activity that strengthens capability and behaviours
- Using talent and workforce insight to inform planning, prioritisation and development decisions
Your contribution will be seen through clearer performance expectations, stronger leadership capability, improved talent pipeline visibility and a positive, high-performing colleague experience.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
