Talent Development Coordinator
Talent Development Coordinator – North
Location: London (Liverpool Street office) – Open to applicants based in Manchester with occasional travel requirement

About the Role
This full-time (37.5 hours, Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm) hybrid (3/2) position is critical to delivering high-quality coordination across all Talent Development activities. The Talent Development Coordinator – North ensures efficient learning and development processes, enabling colleagues to grow, perform, and reach their full potential.
As the central point of coordination for the Talent Development team, this role demands accuracy, organisation, and accountability. The Coordinator will support stakeholder engagement, employee development, and retention, contributing directly to Lomond’s People strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and respond to the Talent Development inbox promptly, adhering to shared responsibility SLA timescales.
- Schedule and coordinate training events, managing attendance and bookings in line with the agreed Talent Development plan.
- Oversee training requirements for employees managing role changes, relocations, or new responsibilities.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date training records.
- Ensures timely communication for managers and directors regarding new starters and training needs.
- Support engagement via email, calls, and Microsoft Teams by coordinating welcome communications.
- Allocate course invites, track completion rates, and manage attendance for both in-person and virtual learning programmes.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for Talent Development events, including room bookings and facilitator coordination.

- Monitor and enhance systems in collaboration with Digital Learning and HR Systems teams.
- Produce monthly reports on attendance, capacity, and key Talent Development metrics.
- Contribute to training resource training development, materials, and invoice processing.
- Build strong internal and external relationships, including stakeholder engagement across the business.
- Support ad hoc Talent Development projects aligned with business priorities.
About You
Ideal candidates will bring the following qualifications and experience:
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in Talent Development, Learning & Development, or HR coordination.
- Ability to coordinate activities in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Strong organisation, planning, and time management.
- Proficiency in independent collaboration, requiring minimal supervision.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or similar platforms.
- Microsoft Office proficiency (particularly Outlook and Excel).
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- High attention to detail to ensure data accuracy, reporting, and administrative precision.
- Experience in data analysis and reporting, including tracking KPIs and learner progress.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information discreetly.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with proactive issue resolution capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on systems and learner experience.
- Basic project coordination experience for programmes and initiatives.
