Talent Development Specialist – 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (London, UK)

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Talent Development Specialist to join our People Team in London! This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity focused on shaping an inclusive onboarding experience and driving learning initiatives.

Key objectives:

  • Enhance onboarding by ensuring every new starter experiences a positive, engaging, and impactful transition into the organisation.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning through tailored programmes, data-driven strategies, and global engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to deliver seamless training experiences and maintain alignment between local and global learning priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitation

  • Primary facilitator of Company Onboarding, ensuring a strong starting experience for all Newbies.
  • Deliver physical offsite events where suitable, setting the tone for new team members’ integration.

Learning Partnering

  • Develop and execute squad-level learning strategies, ensuring relevance and impact.
  • Conduct Learning Needs Analysis, identifying gaps and opportunities for growth.
  • Provide data-driven insights during Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), shaping future initiative priorities.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to coordinate training delivery across assigned locations.
  • Maintain a global learning calendar for supported regions, keeping programmes cohesive and up-to-date.
  • Drive engagement in global learning initiatives within supported areas.

Coaching and Mentoring

  • Support coaching and mentoring requests across the region.
  • Develop hard and soft skills among new team members and peers to encourage long-term development.

Product Ownership

  • Serve as the local point of contact for core products, ensuring informed communication.
  • uphold data hygiene at the regional level, confirming integrity in reporting and datasets.
  • Lead regular content updates and programme enhancements to reflect evolving needs or industry trends.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong facilitation to design and execute engaging onboarding and training sessions.
  • Project management and design thinking expertise to shape effective learning solutions.
  • Data-driven consultative approach: utilise vast datasets to produce actionable insights and tailor real-world solutions.
  • Confident in data interpretation, able to compile findings into clear, compelling presentations.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented individual who thrives under pressure while delivering consistently high-quality work.
  • Strong stakeholder management evangelist, adept at influencing and collaborating across diverse teams.

Additional Notes

  • Compensation range: £44,000–£58,000 per year.
